Ending Eventually...
A short animation about the fate of a wrinkly old porcupine.
It is made out of pencil and ball point pen drawings animated in After Effects. The sound is mostly made up of various scrunching noises using bits of paper and card. The music is a mixture of gentle electric guitar noises and some synthesised effects in Mixcraft.
It was shown at Spike Open 2013 in Bristol.

Good Luck Robots!
Crafted to perfection, freshly painted and prepared for their mission!
Pencil drawings, coloured in Photoshop and animated in After Effects. I wanted to make an animation that harked back to my love of machines and robots during my final year at The Glasgow School of Art.

Panic!
Chain reaction swans and panic in a pond.
I wanted to make an animation whit lots of moving characters. Most animation was pared down to various expression linked into an on and off slider, simple translation and random elements such as the blinking.
This ensured that the animation didn't become too cumbersome, and was easy to time and adjust.

Thingzilla Attacks!
A large orange monster goes on a glutinous rampage through the city of London.
I wanted to make a rig in After Effects that was flexible but also had the more complex ability of opening it's mouth with it's tongue hanging out, in order to devour buildings and innocent bystanders.

Gazelle
A quick animation I made in preparation for working on In The Winter Hours with Edwina Ashton.
I wanted to improve my rigging process and project organisation, as well as automate the process of cutting out drawings.

Toad
A quick animation I made in preparation for working on In The Winter Hours with Edwina Ashton.
One of the initial ideas for the animation involved some frogs and toads. I wanted to try creating a rig for a toad eating crickets.
